What is the best R/C Car?

There are many, many factors to consider with no simple, easy or quick answers.

Here are some things to think about, but ultimately for the best answer, please visit us in person at the physical retail store to see, touch and feel the products and to thoroughly discuss the best solutions. which are unique for every individual case.

-The age and experience level of the user.
-The environment and conditions the product will be used in.
-The initial cost and the ongoing cost.
-Parts and repair availability.
-Casual use only, ('Bashing') or participation at organized events.

How much does an R/C car cost?

Pricing covers a full spectrum, just as the capabilities and usage of every R/C is different across a wide spectrum.

Hobby Grade ('professional') R/C typically does cost more than the toy remote control products available at department store toy aisles.

Hobby R/C products have higher capacities, higher capabilities and better engineering, and their increased cost reflects that.  Most hobby R/C are at least $100, but can also be much more.

Are R/C cars dangerous?

Hobby Grade ('professional') R/C vehicles are much more capable than typical 'toys.'  It is possible for R/C cars to go 70+MPH, or more.  They do require care and consideration in their usage, similar to lawn equipment and other powerful devices.  They are typically more safe than most contact sports and other activities if guidelines are adhered to.
High quality, hobby grade R/C cars should not be used by those under 14 years old without adult supervision and instruction.

With adult supervision, kids as young as 6 years old can participate and use many Hobby R/C vehicles.  It is imperative for an adult user to read and understand the owner's manuals and manufacturer's guidelines to insure safe and proper enjoyment.

Are LiPO batteries dangerous?
